Semitruck crashes in Ogden on I-15

SALT LAKE CITY — A semitruck crash in Ogden caused traffic to back up on Interstate 15 Saturday morning.

The Utah Department of Transportation said both directions were impacted by the crash at 24th Street.

At 8:30 a.m., traffic was backed up a little over 2 miles in the southbound lanes.

Trooper Takesha Durrant with the Utah Highway Patrol said at that time, one northbound lane was closed and three southbound lanes were closed to drivers.

Durrant did not mention whether there were any injuries in relation to the crash. The crash was still under investigation.
