Video: Great Salt Lake not expected to hit new record low this year, but what will leaders do if it does?

Utah’s Great Salt Lake is quickly approaching it’s second lowest level ever recorded.

The lake currently sits at 4,190.4 feet above see level, mere inches above its 2021 low of 4,190.2 feet. The lake then hit an all-time record low of 4,188.5 feet in November 2022 — almost two feet lower than the lake’s current elevation.
