Daybreak festival to release ladybugs and butterflies into community

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — More than 500,000 ladybugs and 600 butterflies will be released in Daybreak on Saturday.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., LiveDAYBREAK, a non-profit community council, is hosting its annual Ladybug Festival.
A release from LiveDAYBREAK says there will be many creatures for all ages to interact with and learn more about. Such as birds, bees, and other creepy crawlies.
Nature-themed activities will also be available for children and families.
LiveDAYBREAK partnered with Thanksgiving Point’s Butterfly Biosphere, Swaner Preserve, Hawkwatch, Natural History Museum of Utah, Tracy Aviary, Riverbottom Butterflies and Wasatch Bee Association to put on the festival this year.
