Suspect at large after attempted credit union robbery in Layton, officials say

LAYTON — Officials in Layton were searching for a suspect on Monday after an attempted bank robbery.
According to Lt. Clint Bobrowski with Layton Police, a report of a robbery at America First Credit Union at 425 Heritage Park Blvd was made Monday morning.
According to Bobrowski, a male suspect entered the credit union at approximately 10:45 a.m. MDT. He reportedly showed a cashier a note that demanded money.
Police said the cashier refused to give the suspect any money, which prompted him to flee from the credit union on foot.
He is described as white male, 5′ 7″ tall. He was pictured by security cameras wearing a gray hat in the style of a fedora, a gray and white scarf, and dark clothing.
