SALT LAKE CITY — A bomb threat was called into the Salt Lake Community College campus, prompting police to sweep the area.
The Utah Highway Patrol said they were unaware of a specific location the alleged bomb was targeting.
Lt. Cameron Roden with the police said they have not found any evidence to substantiate the threat, but officers plan to investigate fully.
By 5:07 p.m., Roden said the area was clear and there are no threats or evacuations.
“I don’t believe classes were disrupted because there were no evacuations,” Roden said.
