Hansen reportedly told the internet users he is “very careful” to “ensure that his sexual abuse can be justified as otherwise normal behavior.”

On March 10, 2025, Hansen was charged with eight first-degree felony counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor in the 1st District Court.
