Evacuations lifted, gas leak contained in Box Elder County

Garland Fire, Box Elder County Sheriff's Office, and Enbridge Gas crews are on scene of a significant gas leak at the Bear Hollow Community.

GARLAND, Utah — The Garland Fire Department said a gas leak has been turned off, and that evacuations ordered for the Bear Hollow community have been lifted.

The gas leak was reported Thursday night.

The main and back entrances of the community had been closed off for emergency operations, but were opened again about an hour later.

Garland Fire Department thanked Enbridge Gas for their quick work.
