Police searching for suspect after West Jordan hit-and-run

SALT LAKE CITY— West Jordan police are searching for a suspect after a hit-and-run on Sunday evening.

According to West Jordan Police Department Sgt. Jordan Smith, an older man in his 50s or 60s was hit while he was in a crosswalk. He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The suspect was making a right-hand turn when he hit the man. After the victim was struck, the driver fled the scene.
