An Ogden City Fire Department truck in the neighborhood where a house caught fire this afternoon. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control before it spread past the house exterior.
OGDEN, Utah — A house fire that began at an Ogden home Saturday was quickly brought under control by local firefighters. The fire was called in at 1:11 p.m. after a homeowner using a blowtorch caught debris on fire while gardening. The fire spread to the roof of the house and remained isolated to the exterior of the house. Firefighters had it under control by 1:35 p.m. No injuries were reported.
