SALT LAKE CITY— One person is dead after a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a truck on eastbound US-6 near Eureka.
According to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Colton Freckleton, the 34-year-old motorcyclist was speeding when they left the eastbound lane. As they entered a westbound lane, they collided with a truck.
Authorities believe the speed of the motorcycle, combined with winding turns, caused the crash.
The motorcyclist died on impact, according to Freckleton. As far as we know, the truck’s occupants did not sustain any major injuries.
