SALT LAKE CITY — In a joint statement released Tuesday night, Park City Mountain Resort said Vail Resorts and the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association have reached a tentative agreement.

Upon ratification, the tentative agreement will last until April 2027.

The Union’s bargaining committee is unanimously endorsing ratification by its unit with a vote scheduled to take place on January 8. The tentative agreement addresses both parties’ interests and will end the current strike,” read the statement.

Neither of the groups will be speaking to the media until the new contract has been ratified, per the statement.

Once the contract has been ratified, the striking patrollers will return to work. The union is expected to vote on ratification on Thursday.
