Person in serious condition after being hit by TRAX train

MURRAY — A person was taken to the hospital in serious condition Saturday night after being hit by a TRAX train in Murray, a transportation official said.
Utah Transit Authority spokesperson Gavin Gustafson said the person was hit at the Fashion Place Station at approximately 9:10 p.m.
Gustafson said the person accidentally stepped out in front of the train.
Red and blue lines of TRAX were delayed by 15-30 minutes after the collision, Gustafson said.
