SANDY — A South Jordan teen was found safe after being reported missing and endangered Saturday, and last being seen in Sandy, the South Jordan Police Department said Saturday night.
Police said the 15-year-old was found at 10 p.m. Saturday, after an “immediate effort was launched.”
“The South Jordan Police Department extends its sincere gratitude to the SLC Police Department and all assisting agencies for their support and swift action in ensuring (the teenager’s) safe return,” the department said in a post on Facebook.
The teenager reportedly ran from the area of 200 East and 10600 South at approximately 3 p.m. Saturday.
