SWAT scene outside Taylorsville home forces shelter-in-place alert

TAYLORSVILLE — An active SWAT situation in Taylorsville forced an alert to homes nearby to shelter in place on Friday.

As of 2:45 p.m., a SWAT team was still at the scene near 3840 West and Vixen Way. Police told reporters on scene that officers were seeking entry to a home with a wanted person inside, who had multiple felony convictions.
