Trump to make fundraiser stop in Utah in August

SALT LAKE CITY — Former President Trump will visit Utah next month for a fundraiser, the Deseret News reported on Thursday.

Trump was initially supposed to visit Utah in June. That visit was canceled after the first presidential debate was scheduled for the same day.

The newly scheduled event is reportedly going to happen on August 29 in Park City.

 

KSL at Night Host and political consultant Taylor Morgan told Jeff Caplan’s Afternoon News that the organizers of the event are some political heavy hitters.

“John Schnatter, Glenn Beck and Doug Quezada from Utah. So some really prominent head fundraisers hosting this event. [It’ll be] interesting to see who will attend this event at the end of August,” Morgan said.

Morgan also said that the Biden-Harris campaign visited Park City multiple times this election season as well.

“It is literally an ATM machine for national candidates, a lot of weather and prominent donors.”
