Father, son hospitalized after ‘domestic disturbance’ in West Point

WEST POINT — Two people were hospitalized after a “domestic disturbance” situation Monday evening, according to the Davis County Sheriff’s Office.

Stephanie Dismore, a spokeswoman for the Davis County Sheriff’s Office, said dispatch received a call just before 8 p.m. about the domestic incident at a home near 750 N. 2000 West.

“Upon arrival, deputies from the Davis County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Clinton City Police Department discovered two males with serious injuries and a third adult in the home who was uninjured,” Dismore said in a press release.

According to investigators, the two men who were hurt were a father and son who lived at the home. One of them received a gunshot wound and the other had a head injury. Both are in the hospital and stable condition.

Police did not say which man received which injuries and who the third adult was.

Dismore said it was the third person who called police about the incident.
