SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake Police Department is investigating a crash in Central City, involving a motorcyclist and an SUV, causing critical injuries to the motorcyclist.
The crash, taking place in a neighborhood around 350 South and 200 East, was reported at around 5:25 p.m. Monday, March 18.
The-28-year old motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The 61-year-old driver of the SUV, a Mazda CX5, remained at the scene, SLPD said.
Officers have closed 200 East in both directions between 300 and 400 South, and SLPD said the closure is expected to last several hours.
