Endangered missing advisory issued for 14-year-old

SALT LAKE CITY — An endangered missing advisory has been issued for Leiya Johnson, last seen at her mother’s house in South Salt Lake City. She is 14 years old, 5’2″, about 90 pounds, and has long black hair. It was last seen in a bun.

She was also last seen wearing a grey hoodie with “peace” out with white lettering in the front, as well as white shorts and beige crocs.

The last time Johnson was seen was at 3:30 p.m. Monday, August 12th.

Anyone who believes they have seen Leiya Johnson should contact local law enforcement.
