Petroglyph vandalism suspects located, officials say

KANAB, Utah — The Kane County Sheriff’s Office said they have located two people suspected of petroglyph vandalism near Wire Pass.
The KCSO provided an update in a post on Facebook. Officials didn’t provide other details.
Additionally, Kane County officials thanked those who called them with information.

An earlier Facebook post from the KCSO said the pair was spotted vandalizing petroglyphs on Nov. 23.
The Bureau of Land Management offered a $1,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
Damaging or vandalizing petroglyphs could lead to felony charges, jail time, and large fines.
