Man injured in hang glider accident

DRAPER, Utah — The Draper Fire Department says a hang glider fell from the air just before 6 p.m. Thursday evening.

Fire officials says the man suffered significant injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The incident occurred at the Salt Lake County Flight Park in Draper.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

A helicopter from the Department of Public Safety as well as Draper Police responded to the scene.
