Highway 6 closed while police investigate a fatal motorcycle accident

SPANISH FORK, Utah — Spanish Fork Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident on Highway 6 through Spanish Fork. The highway is closed in both directions from Center Street Expressway Lane for the next couple of hours.
Police said the 34-year-old man who was driving the motorcycle was dead when they arrived. They said witnesses told them the rider was going east when he made a quick lane change and clipped the back of a pickup truck. The motorcycle crossed into the westbound lanes, where it was hit by a westbound vehicle and thrown into another.
