Police: Two arrested after targeting ex-boyfriend in drive-by shooting

SALT LAKE CITY – Two people were arrested after aiming at an ex-boyfriend during a drive-by shooting Sunday morning, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Police said the victim reported his ex-girlfriend and her cousin fired at his home near the 1200 S. block on 900 W. before leaving the scene.
Officers were able to locate and stop the suspect vehicle and found evidence from the shooting, police said.
Nobody was injured during the shooting, police said, and no property damage occurred, although a bullet reportedly struck one tree.
Police said the two people involved were booked on multiple felony charges, including aggravated assault and felony discharge of a firearm.
Their identities were not released at the time of publication.
