SALT LAKE CITY — Police detectives in Lehi announced Saturday they had followed an anonymous tip to locate a ‘stash house’ in Lehi, leading to the seizure of a large quantity of drugs.
According to Lehi police, a detective assigned to the Utah County Major Crimes Task Force received an anonymous tip about a man living in Eagle Mountain that was selling various types of drugs, including marijuana, THC dab, THC vapes and psilocybin mushrooms.
Following an investigation, police said they identified a potential ‘stash house’ in Lehi that was being used to both hide and distribute the drugs throughout Salt Lake and Utah Counties.
A search warrant was served Wednesday for the individual, their vehicle and the ‘stash house’ location.
Inside, police found a large quantity of illegal narcotics and more than $12,000 in cash, believed to be the proceeds from the sale of the illegal narcotics.
According to police, they seized:
- Approximately 74 pounds of THC dab and wax
- Approximately 25 pounds of raw marijuana
- 3,100 packages of THC edibles
- Individually packaged THC vape devices.
Police estimated the total street value of the drugs to be between $164,300 and $221,900.
