A Facebook post from the SOPD said police were providing security when they received reports of a firearm in the park where the event was being held.
The suspects were described as being “a group of juveniles wearing all black clothing,” police said.
Police said they were able to locate and approach the group when a male suspect pulled out the firearm.
According to SOPD, the suspect dropped the weapon and ran towards the park’s main concert stage.
Police said they pursued the suspect and were able to apprehend him without incident.
