Police say Layton man called 911 after killing his wife, in-laws

LAYTON, Utah — Three homicide victims were found dead inside a home near 1800 E Gentile Street in Layton this morning.
According to Travis Lyman, Lieutenant with the Layton Police Department, 34-year-old Jeremy Bailey called the department this morning saying he had killed someone inside his home. That man is now in custody.
Police say the victims are all adults and were found in different locations of the house.
One victim was the wife of the suspect, 36-year-old Anastasia Stevens. The other two victims were Anastasia’s parents, Donald Stevens and Becky Stevens.
Lyman says Donald and Becky were visiting from Nevada.
The motive is still under investigation, however, Lyman said this morning Anastasia and Jeremy got in a brief argument.
The department can’t say for certain the cause of death of the three victims.
According to a release from the police department, Jeremy also killed three of the four dogs at the home.
Lyman says he is cooperating with the investigation.
