South Weber Fire Department said they responded to the “quarter-acre” fire along with crews from Mountain Green, Morgan, and South Weber Fire Departments.
Mountain Green Fire Department said the large response was due to the dry conditions, as the air temperature was 96 degrees.
The fire department said the cause is unknown, but they found some lithium batteries that were hot from a run-over electric fan.
Fire crews were able to put out the fire, as crews stayed for an hour checking for any hidden flames.
