Dense fog causes advisory in Uintah County

VERNAL — Dense fog was impacting parts of Uintah County on Saturday, and officials warned it could make for dangerous driving conditions.

Uintah County Emergency Management announced on Facebook that the fog advisory would be in effect until 1 p.m. Saturday. The department said visibility would be limited to under half a mile at times.

“If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you,” the department said.
