SALT LAKE CITY— Valley rain and mountain snow will start back up again Thursday, and it’ll be back again for Easter weekend.
KSL Meteorologist Matt Johnson said Thursday’s rain and snow should calm down by around 7 to 8 p.m. before things dry out on Friday.
By Saturday, Johnson said wet weather resumes then picks up even more on Easter Sunday.
Johnson said the mountains from Logan to St. George could pick up six inches to a foot of snow.
For people planning on travelling for the holiday, Johnson urges people to be cautious while driving, especially in Southern Utah.
Johnson said St. George should mostly see rain, but he said there’s a chance to see some snow mix in on Sunday.
Additionally, Johnson said I-15 in southwestern Utah will likely have water on it at times on Sunday.
