Salt Lake County announces Code Blue for January 11

SALT LAKE CITY — A Code Blue alert has been enacted in Salt Lake County for Jan. 11, 2024. This marks the third day in a row that the initiative has been put into effect.
By Utah law, when Code Blue is announced, shelters are authorized to increase capacity for those experiencing homelessness by 35%, implement expedited intake procedures, and offer more help to those in need.
