Storm warnings spread across Utah

SALT LAKE CITY — The National Weather Service sent out storm warnings in several areas throughout Utah on Saturday.

The NWS said to expect hail measuring between 1 inch to a quarter size and possible 60 mph wind gusts in the following areas until 1:45 p.m.

Ogden
Layton
Roy

Flash flood warnings were also sent out by NWS in the following areas. The warnings were in effect until 3:45 p.m.:

Emery County
Wayne County

This flash flood warning includes Little Wildhorse, Bell, Ding and Dang, Crack and other slot canyons near Goblin Valley State Park. Seek higher ground if in these canyons and do not enter these canyons through the afternoon. #utwx https://t.co/218W68rvRD
