Heather Peterson

Heather Peterson currently serves as the producer of Utah’s Noon News and a reporter at KSL NewsRadio, and has since January 2024.

 

Peterson, originally from California, has lived in many places since her husband is in the Air Force. They are now stationed at Hill Air Force Base, along with their three children. 

 

Peterson obtained her Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Biola University in 2014. Soon after, she began her radio career at NewsRadio KFBK in Sacramento, California, working as a producer, reporter and digital news editor.

 

After that, her family moved to Germany and she spent several years as a stay-at-home mother to her young children. She was also able to complete her Master’s degree from Liberty University during that time. After coming back to the states, Peterson had the chance to dabble in TV news, before returning to her first love — radio.

 

Peterson has enjoyed living in Utah, since she values good hikes, strong community and beautiful scenery. She also enjoys traveling, going to the beach (or lake) and watching television.
