Summer in Bear Lake is an unbeatable experience, and this summer, there are countless events you won’t want to miss. Bear Lake events are renowned for being memorable and family-friendly, and this year, there is even more to be excited about.

Bear Lake Summer 2025 Events

4th of July

Celebrate the country’s founding at the Paris, Idaho, 4th of July Celebration & Rodeo! From sunrise to sunset, the city will be filled with patriotic splendor, featuring an early morning flag-raising ceremony, a daytime parade, and a concert to wrap up the evening.

After the sun sets, celebrations will be visible and audible across the lake as the sky lights up in a dazzling array of fireworks. 

The following day, on July 5, head over to the Garden City Fireworks Show! This free event will feature games and live music and conclude with a fireworks show. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a few friends to enjoy the evening. 

Car Show

See beautifully restored hot rods, classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles on display at the annual Bear Lake Car Show on Saturday, July 26, from 8 am-4:30 pm. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Montpelier, the event will kick off on the Friday night before with ice cream in the park and a cornhole tournament, followed by an award ceremony at 4:00 pm on Saturday. Boat Light Parade and Fireworks

Mark your calendar for the Bear Lake Boat Light Parade on Saturday, August 9, an event you won’t want to miss! Watch this parade of decorated boats as they float beneath a fantastic fireworks display. This event coincides with the Bear Lake Raspberry Days, making it an extra special time to be at the lake.

Battle at the Border 

The “Battle at the Border” event, hosted by the Fierce Fighting Championship, is a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighting match being held for the second time in Bear Lake. This event will take place on September 6 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Heritage Park in Garden City. The match is a family-friendly environment where professional athletes battle head-to-head.

Raspberry Days 

Raspberry Days is arguably Bear Lake’s most anticipated event, bringing countless visitors to the valley for a delicious raspberry harvest in early August. 

This year, visitors can look forward to a parade in Garden City, followed by a fair in Heritage Park. The fair will feature a variety of activities for the whole family, including craft booths, rides, food vendors, and live music throughout the day.

Rodeos 

Rodeo lovers will love all that Bear Lake has to offer this summer. 

Laketown Raspberry Days Rodeo

On Friday and Saturday nights during Raspberry Days, check out the Laketown Raspberry Days Rodeo at 7:30 pm. Tickets will be available online closer to the event on the Laketown website. 

Rich County Fair

From August 11 to 16 in Randolph, Utah, the Rich County Fair will host a rodeo, concert, livestock show, parade, and fireworks! Find more about this event on the Rich County Fair Facebook Page

Bear Lake County Fair

August 11-16 at the Bear Lake County Fair Grounds will boast some old-fashioned fun! Bring the whole family for a rodeo, carnival, concert, demolition derby, exhibits, and more.
