“Mrs. Jones is a brand new teacher even though she’s still adjusting her teaching style, I’ve found myself more focused in this class than any other. A few things that make her incredible is her compassion for all students, her patience, her being involved instead of letting us be self paced, her willingness to answer questions, and the positive energy she always brings with her. When I talk about her compassion and being involved for the students, I mean that she’s always excited to hear about our day, weeks, and our hyper fixations or goals we’ve reached. But shes also always ready to listen to when we’ve had hard or bad days, giving supportive ears, or just listening when nobody else has. Another thing I highly admire about her is her patience. As you can assume, growing up means figuring yourself out and making some mistakes on the way. Even though she’s had students who don’t always listen, get their work done, or have the best grades, she has never discriminated against them. Instead she offers ways to help them or just asks what they’re struggling with. Another thing I really like about her teaching is her lessons, they’re fun, interactive, and really help me in my learning pathway.”
