“Amy is the best teacher I’ve ever worked with. She goes above and beyond to meet all of her students needs no matter how challenging they are. Her students love her and she makes lasting impacts on their lives.
She also created an annual book club. For the last 16 years, she has chosen multiple books for students at various levels to read, invited the author, and created an amazing experience where students are excited and inspired. She transforms our school into a scene from the book; has characters, treats, and activities from the book. The authors love it so much! They love her and can’t wait to come to our school.
Amy is so impactful in so many ways. I’ve learned so much from her in the 20 years we’ve worked side by side. There’s no one better than deserves this recognition.”
