“My children have always been a part of music and extracurricular activities at their schools. We have loved the experiences that they have had, but there is one teacher that is in a league of their own. Ms. Jenks is the perfect choir teacher who has managed to create a music program that any student would want to be a part of. She is loving, energetic, talented, fun, creative, kind, and involved. She embodies every good characteristic of the most wonderful educator you could ever imagine. Ms. Jenks is an absolute gem, and Mueller Park junior high is very fortunate to have her teaching choir.”
“There is not an empty seat in the house when there is a choir performance, and more students than ever are enrolling in the choir because of Ms. Jenks. She chooses the best music for the students to learn and adds just the right amount of fun to each song. She teaches her students music, but also to love music. Her love for singing is contagious! I am so thankful for the example she has set for my children. It would change the world if every teacher was so passionate and invested in what they teach, like Ms. Jenks.”
