“Ms Rosenlund is the most caring and attentive Kindergarten Teacher I have ever known! She values each individual child, encouraging them in the ways they learn best and inspiring them to learn and grow at their own pace with tender loving guidance.
In the first weeks of school she noticed that the littlest in her class felt more confident and safe when they had a stuffed animal from hone with them. From that day on the children were allowed to bring “a friend” to school. She encouraged the kids to teach their stuffed friends new things and for the shy littles who found it difficult to connect or make new friends (like my daughter) were soothed and comforted and notify longer felt alone or separated. They felt included and eventually came out of their shell a bit. And what a difference in learning and comprehension when the kids taught their stuffed friends new things they were learning! Amazing!
All of this coupled with the reality that each child felt important, loved, noticed, and understood by their teacher made my child simply blossom! It’s teachers like Ms Rosenlund that inspire little minds and set up a confident and caring foundation for them to build on as they take on their future education. I wish every one of my kiddos could have had a Kindergarten teacher like Ms Rosenlund. I know that their start in school would have been so much easier and more fulfilling had they been cared for and allowed to grow and learn in a classroom like hers.”
