“I am honored to nominate Caprice Hazen for Teacher of the Month because of her extraordinary dedication, leadership, and measurable impact on student learning.
Caprice approaches teaching with intention and purpose. She holds high expectations for every student while providing the support and encouragement they need to succeed. At her Title I school, she has been a driving force in improving academic outcomes, helping her students make significant growth in a single school year.
What sets Caprice apart is her willingness to do more than what is required. She continually seeks out better instructional strategies, reflects on her practice, and adapts lessons to meet the needs of all learners. Her classroom is a place where students feel safe, motivated, and confident in their abilities.
Beyond her own classroom, Caprice contributes positively to the school community through collaboration and mentorship. She shares ideas, supports colleagues, and models what effective, student-centered instruction looks like. Her passion for teaching is evident in everything she does, and her influence extends well beyond her students.
Caprice Hazen is a dedicated educator whose commitment and results make her highly deserving of Teacher of the Month recognition.”
