“Although, many family members feel that their family is special, I have the good fortune to see for myself the care, concern and countless hours Christal dedicates to caring for her class and team. Many of her students come from different countries and cultures. She enjoys cultivating a room of growth and understanding while working to develop the minds her her students to be kind, respectful and better thinkers as they learn and grow. While supplies and needs for the classroom are often underfunded, Christal uses much of her own money to not only provide her students with the resources they need to have effective lessons, she also uses her own money to help other teachers with their needs.
Her service extends beyond the boundaries of the classroom as she helps educate and care for those she comes in contact with kindness and understanding.”
