“Mrs. Skillicorn is the kindest and most loving first grade teacher! She makes the transition from half day kinder to full day school so seamless! She will send occasional pictures to parents of their child doing activities/learning at school. This was so comforting for me as nervous mom watching my children transition to full day school hours! She helps the kids through the lunch line since its new to them, she always wants to make sure her students are set up for success. My daughter had her for first grade during the covid shut down early school year, she was very attentive and great at teaching those curtail first grade skills from a distance! My Twin Boys just finished first grade with her and she was amazing at keeping them separate but together at the same time! She is a very encouraging, supportive, fun teacher, that is always available to talk to about concerns. I know she has the best interest of my child on her mind at all times! My children didn’t want their school year to end because they were going to miss her! She is the best!”
