From the moment that my daughter walked into her classroom she has been challenged with additional enriching opportunities that go above and beyond the curriculum and dedicated to sparking curiosity in my child. I have been amazed, I don’t have to ask, “what did you learn today?” instead my daughter can’t wait to tell me about the topics discussed because she is excited about them! She wants to know more and is seeking out additional knowledge outside of class thanks to the way Mrs Henderson’s enthusiasm and authenticity is relayed to students, it is incredible. As a mother we often hear from teachers when our children misbehave, but within the first month of school already I had received an email recognizing the quiet efforts that my daughter makes but have so often gone unnoticed.
