“Dave has been a teacher and coach for over 40 years. He ran the Davis High Baseball program for a number of years. And was an Assistant Football Coach for Davis and Layton Highs for Years along with his Downs Syndrome Daughter. You can go anywhere in the High Schools sports programs and they will know both Dave and Amy. I have been going to coffee with Dave for years and there are so many days that past students stop by and say hi and get a hug from COACH as he is known. Most of them he remembers but after 40 years of teaching a few fall through till they talk for a minute. So as this is going to be his last year I would like to nominate Dave COACH Leo for this Great Award.”
