“Denee is the best all around, she has been teaching 2nd grade this year 30 years. Unfortunately she will be retiring at the end of this school year, this would be perfect for Denee to win! Denee loves her students as they love her. She goes above and beyond her teacher duties, on weekends she is going to soccer games, baptisms, special occasions, her support goes further than the class room.

Denee is a very hard worker and she will definitely be missed, Denee is there & usually the last one leaving, & then it doesn’t stop there, it picks up right back at home. Denee is very connected to each of every one of students. Going the extra mile giving the extra to a family of her student that needs a little help through the holidays, & makes sure the family & the kiddos her student nobody goes with out, she does it with a smile on her face, not wanting any recognition.

Her & her hubby does this together. Denee is loved by all, students she has had & has, former students are always coming to say hi! I hope Denee wins this, totally deserves this opportunity! She was my sons 2nd grade teacher, BEST teacher ever, & that is how we became such great friends. 5 + years . My son is now in 7th grade, & he still calls her Mrs Bringhurst… we all love Denee.💓”
