“Ms. Spray has been the best teacher for our 8 year old. She was incredibly patient with our easily-distracted girl, never making her feel inferior for being unable to do things the way other children did. Ms. Spray was so creative in finding solutions to help her, even sometimes letting her reperform her work away from the rest of the class so she could focus (and on a beanbag, nonetheless!). When we had a medical emergency with another child, she provided flexibility and genuine concern for our family. She was always so engaged in what mattered to our girl in and outside of school that she even came to a play our daughter was in (that wasn’t affiliated with the school) and her baptism (even though she does not share our faith). And it’s not just our family that is so impressed with her- she won the teacher of the year at Dry Creek last year! She is just such an amazing person and I want her to know just how meaningful she has been to our whole family!”
