“Mrs. Arns is an incredible English teacher and yearbook advisor at JJHS. She is innovative and creative always looking for new ideas to make learning fun and memorable! From novel studies and dressing up for Outsiders Day, to creating new dystopian societies, or recording tik tok style videos to promote the yearbook- kids have a blast in her class. Mrs. Arns creates relationships with her students that have them coming back to visit her long after they’ve left the Jr High. She regularly has high school students who return to mentor the yearbook class or work as a TA because they love her and want to continue to be in her classroom. Additionally Georgina supports and mentors fellow teachers- always offering solutions, guidance and friendship. She’s a valuable asset to our school and community and we all think she’s the very best- including her husband Mr. Arns who is her fellow English teacher at JJHS. They take the cake for the school’s cutest couple!”
