“While listening to FM 100 in the car with my son, we heard an ad for the “Feature Teacher” nomination. Half-jokingly, I said, “You really like your teacher—should we nominate her?” Without missing a beat, he gasped and said, “Mom! How did you read my mind?”

Mrs. Wade has been my son’s kindergarten and second-grade teacher, and she is nothing short of incredible. She is hardworking, patient, and truly dedicated to her students. Not only does she teach them with care and enthusiasm, but she also sets a positive, uplifting example for them to follow. She takes a genuine interest in each child and always has a smile on her face. She radiates kindness and joy.

Each year my son has had Mrs. Wade, he has achieved academic success beyond both of our expectations. That is a direct result of the positive, hardworking environment she creates in her classroom. Her caring heart keeps her moving forward, ensuring every child feels supported and capable of success. She fosters a love of learning and encourages her students to believe in themselves.
