Jana Timpson, Granger High School

“Jana Timpson is one-of-a-kind! Ms. Timpson is the Theater / Drama teacher at Granger High School, the largest public school in the state. At Granger there are many low-income and special needs students with a huge level of diversity and English Language Learners. It is a very unique place with many hidden talents. Jana Timpson is magical at fostering and spotlighting these very talented kids. She has directed many award-winning productions, most recently “Matilda – the Musical”, where hoards of students flock to take part. Everyone can find a place in her shows, and the result is nothing short of delightful. The theater is always packed, and the student growth is beyond words. I have had the privilege of assisting her by doing some choreography for her shows, and I can say that working along side this generous, patient teacher is a dream. Hats off to all she does!”
