“Mr. Massic, or “Massic” is one of the most dedicated teachers I have ever gotten the honor to be around. Massic goes above and beyond for past and present students. He dedicates time even on weekends to have labs open for the students, creates fun and exciting projects, and has won the respect of all. He recently went and competed with past students representing from around the world, and his past student took 2nd place. Massic is constantly traveling for competitions with SkillsUSA. @mass.welds on Instagram!
Witnessing his classroom dynamic is a treat. His funny banter, hilarious class questions, and willingness to have a good time every single day is incredible to watch. It’s not every day you see so many teenagers respect a teacher. He is so attentive to each and every project happening in his shop and is available all day for his students.
We have gotten the opportunity to work with his students on an outside project, and their knowledge base is above and beyond their peers at other high schools. Massic has gone out of his way to teach every skill he can possible in the welding world. There is so much talent, and he believes in his students and gives them a safe place to enjoy their love of welding.”
