“Mrs. Warr is truly a one-of-a-kind educator who goes above and beyond to ensure her students feel seen, valued, and capable. From the moment she stepped in—having completely transformed the classroom culture after being out for the first four months she has been a tireless advocate for her students’ growth. Whether she’s spending her own money on books, shirts, or even a hat at a Weber State game to give to one of her students she ran into there, her investment in the kids is both personal and profound. She doesn’t just teach curriculum; she builds leaders. By empowering every child with a personal “word” to live by, like achieve, and implementing roles like Class President, she instills a sense of purpose and confidence in every student. Her dedication doesn’t stop at the school bell, either; she’s known to show up for extracurricular activities at the drop of a hat and even includes her students during summer parades, proving that her commitment to their success is lifelong.”
