“Mr. Fontano is an amazing teacher and human. When we moved to Cedar City two years ago we were so nervous about putting our daughter with a disability into a new school. We didn’t know a soul in this new town and from the first time we met Mr Fontano our fears were put completely to rest. His positive, calming presence let us know immediately that she was in good hands.
Her final two years of schooling have by far been the best she’s had. Mr Fontano supports his students inside and outside of the classroom. Our daughter has a project where she collects crazy socks each October for the kid at Primary Children’s hospital. Mr Fontano took this project of hers and made sure it was widely publicized and supported and she was able to collect donate the most socks she’s ever had- over 1500 pairs!
Our daughter is leaving high school with positive memories and a lot of joy and this is due in large part to Mr Fontano and the amazing aides in his classroom.
