“Ms. Young was our savior last year. My little 1st grader, Tabitha, struggled with getting to school due to anxiety and post-Covid tummy troubles. When Tabitha missed school a couple of days in a week, she took it upon he self to drop off Tabitha’s packet of homework at our home. This allowed her to catch up, easing her anxiety to go back.
This instance was only one of many things she did to help Tabitha get to school during a difficult school year.
Fox Hills Elementary is an amazing school, and it’s hard to nominate only one teacher. The Principal, office staff, and psychologist all went above and beyond. I don’t think Tabitha will ever forget 1st Grade with Ms Young.”
